Today, I received Chinaberry seeds from the wonderful Hiroshi Sunairi, who is like a modern day Johnny Appleseed. Hiroshi spearheads THE TREE PROJECT, and delivers seeds around the world from trees who had survived the Hiroshima A-bomb over 60 years ago (called Hibaku or A-bombed trees). I now own three second (or third) generation seedlings that, to me, mostly represent an idea that there can always be re-birth. I will give two of the three away to very special people, and keep one for myself.
