TED DAY ONE!!

And today, my TED adventure begins!! In our recent exchange of emails, Marc Mertens most adequately explained the excitement that one has for going to TED the first time:  ”I feel somewhere between the day before Christmas when 8 years old and the last day before the most incredible vacation.”

I’ll be heading off to Palm Springs soon, and I have so much to look forward to…lots of random scenarios are playing in my head… Maybe I’ll have won a special appointment by TED and the SciFi Channel to make the world a better place. Maybe I’ll meet some hot, single, brainy, rich guys for all of my girlfriends to marry and throw fab parties with me for the rest of our lives! Maybe I’ll find someone who shares in my interest for symbol making? Maybe, just maybe I’ll go through each day without a hangover from parties each night (including a Gucci sponsored party on Friday! oh no, panic… do I have the right shoes??) Whatever. The best part is that I know that these next five days have already shaped my life so quickly and positively, I know that I’ll come back to LA a bit stronger and excited to contribute more to the experiences I lay out for myself, Pink Cloud, our friends and our clients.

Please excuse any delays in blog postings or emails, although I will do my best to stay in touch. I encourage you to read the TED FELLOWS blog -it’s a behind the scenes look at other handpicked TEDsters under the age of 40 who are set out to inspire. (Go Oliver!!) TED DAY ONE!! WOO HOO!

You can watch TED live via webcast or at the least, go to the TED Prize winners live viewing at a movie theater near you.
