One of my good friends from college, Bob DeMars, is seeing his first documentary on PBS tonight - “Adjust Your Color: The Truth of Petey Greene.” After producing the movie TALK TO ME with Don Cheadle, Bobby found all of this great, never-seen-before footage of the original shock jock DJ Petey Greene from the 60s. Some of the topics they found Petey talking about include “the viability of a black president” and “how to eat a watermelon.” Don Cheadle narrates and a rare talk with Petey and Howard Stern is captured. It should be pretty hilarious, insightful, and I highly recommend TIVOing or watching this tonight on the PBS Independent Lens program.
